Built in the Eastern Pyrenees on a 36-hectare site it place 95,200 mirrors fitted to 23,800 collector panels covering a total surface area of 153,000 m2.
ALMECO contributed with the realization of the secondary reflectors developing both a dedicated material and realizing the reflectors. The highly reflective aluminum used is vega TS 290 belongs to the vega energy range. Its spectrum is tuned to maximize the Solar reflection, reaching the highest value in the market of solar aluminum application.
It is the result of a major technical development and investment project carried out by Almeco, which combines the proven quality of the galvanic processes and the technology of the PVD surface coating. Its key features allow to improve optical performance, optimize the concentrating and reflecting efficiency of solar energy systems, designed especially for secondary reflector application.
