is a company specialized in aluminium products, starting from its early days as a supplier of reflector components for local Italian companies to its present position as a supplier to all the world’s major lighting system producers. This specialisation has led the Group to become one of the world's biggest producers of components for the lighting technology, solar energy industries and decorative market.

Quality

In 1996 Almeco’s Quality System was certified by BV referring to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008, the certification applies to all production processes and departments.

Target of the QS of Almeco is to assert its position on the market, clearly identifying the expectations and needs of the customer to convert them into requirements to be met, offering customers the best rate between money and services and, in relation to these, provide services which will ensure the widest customer satisfaction, with a look to continuous improvement and business excellence.

Essential objective of the company's QS is the commitment to create, develop and share to all levels of the organization a culture of quality, focused on customer satisfaction; this implies by management, the availability of all human and technological resources necessary, and involvement of all towards to improve the quality of service provided. In such a system, basic objectives are:

constant training of process managers and their employees, through specific courses on the disciplines of quality;
re-examination and registration of the contracts;
checking the materials beforehand and monitoring of the suppliers;
control of the product during the production phases;
quality control of the finished product;
identification and traceability of materials and products;
check of the measuring and test instruments;

Almeco management shall also ensure, as a major goal, to keep in perfect efficiency its QS by the constant and regular check of the correct application of the management procedures, the operating instructions, the process flows in all areas of the business through internal audits and special reviews, disposal of non-conforming products, management of preventative and corrective measures.

Finally, are considered indispensable to achieve the targets of effectiveness and efficiency of processes the systematic monitoring of the production processes using statistical methods and data analysis for quality and performance.
